AboutHey there! Welcome to Sporkémon! We are the Pokémon sporking community!
Why does this exist?
The simple answer is this: Because there's so much Pokémon fan fiction! It's one of the largest sections on the Pit, and we have a whole, er... Family-unfriendly site dedicated to... uh... Interesting stories!
So, what is sporking/MSTing?
Once upon at time, there was a show call "Mystery Science Theater 3000". In it, terrible, horrible B movies were snarked upon.It was wonderful, and many laughs happened.
The internet, being what it is, jumped on it. You can't walk five feet without bumping into bad fiction, they thought. Why don't we make fun of it? And so MSTing was born and it was good.
Time passed, and MST3K went off the air. But MSTing, soon to be renamed sporking, remained.
Eventually, here on our very own LJ, sporking communities popped up. But we Pokémon fans, for all our craziness and bad fiction, never got one.
Until now, that is.
You have rules, right?
Of course we do.
1) No bashing authors or going after their work because you don't like them. Also, do not leave flames in their reviews.
2) If you can't make it funny, leave it.
3) Snip large bodies of unnecessary or unfunny text.
4) No targeting yaoi, yuri, het, or any one pairing in particular. We don't want shipping wars here, people.
5) Because we are making fun of people with bad spelling and grammar, use good spelling and grammar yourself.
6) For the sake of no fighting, no shipping is canon and we will all use English names.
7) Both in character and out of character sporkings are allowed. In character has the characters sporking themselves, out of character just has you sporking.
8) This is a PG-13 community. Explicit violence, language, or sex is to be snipped away or ignored altogether. If you found a story so bad you just have to share it, go to![[info]](http://l-stat.livejournal.com/img/community.gif?v=92.2)

9) Listen to the mods and admin. They are your friends.
10) Speaking of mods, don't ask to be one. I'll chose mods based off what I know of them. End of story.
